Core Program

Leadership New Mexico's Core Program is a transformative 10-month initiative designed to cultivate a diverse group of leaders from across the state. The program features a series of sessions that delve into critical state issues through expert-led discussions, fostering an environment of inquiry and solution-oriented dialogue. Participants gain a deep understanding of New Mexico's unique cultural and regional dynamics, enhancing their ability to effect positive change. The program includes a two-day retreat and five educational sessions covering key areas such as Health and Human Services, Economic Development, Education, Environment and Natural Resources, and Government and Leadership. Each year, 40-45 leaders are selected to represent a broad cross-section of geographic, professional, and demographic backgrounds, ensuring a rich exchange of perspectives. Tuition is set at $3,500, covering all program-related expenses except personal travel and accommodations, with potential scholarships available for those in need.
