The Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce offers 'Chamber Bucks,' a unique local currency designed to boost economic activity within the community. These certificates, exclusively printed and sold by the Chamber, can be purchased in any denomination and are valid for two years from the date of issue. Chamber Bucks are accepted at a variety of participating local businesses, functioning similarly to checks. This initiative not only supports local merchants but also encourages residents to shop within the county, fostering local economic growth. Note that Chamber Bucks are not redeemable for cash, and usage may be subject to individual merchant policies regarding change given during transactions.
