Sea Turtle Island

Sea Turtle Island at the Oklahoma Aquarium houses a 58,000-gallon exhibit featuring loggerhead sea turtles, sharks, and various bony fish. Visitors can explore the exhibit from above and below, with the opportunity to enter an underwater observation station for an up-close view of these marine creatures. The loggerhead, known for its powerful jaws and essential role in marine ecosystems, shares the exhibit with species such as the bonnethead and leopard sharks, along with colorful fish like parrotfish and porcupine puffers. The exhibit educates visitors on sea turtle conservation and the impact of human activity on ocean health.
