Wounded Warriors Family Support, in collaboration with UAW-Ford, offers the Veterans Welding Training is Freedom program to equip U.S. military veterans with in-demand trade skills and career readiness. This intensive six-week course, held at UAW-Ford’s Technical Training Center in Michigan, provides hands-on welding instruction and certification opportunities, preparing participants for apprenticeships and entry-level roles in industries such as automotive, construction, and shipbuilding. The program is a tribute to veterans' service and a pathway to meaningful employment and long-term stability in civilian life.
