School District


The Marion Center Area School District covers 195 square miles with approximately 10,500 residents in North Central Indiana County. With a school enrollment of 1400 students in grades Pre-K through 12, Marion Center is dedicated to a comprehensive educational program for all its students and residents. Students from Canoe, Creekside Borough, East Mahoning, Ernest Borough, Grant, Marion Center Borough, Plumville Borough, Rayne Township, South Mahoning Township and Washington Township have an opportunity to be involved in a wide range of academic, athletic and extracurricular activities. Students and community members alike have access to the many Community Service Programs offered such as swimming, aerobics, fitness center, and other organized sports. The District currently employs 121 professional staff (Administrators and Teachers); 93 support personnel (Secretarial, Para-Educators, Maintenance, Custodial, Nutrition Services, Security and Technology). The Central Administrative Office is located at 22820 Route 403 Highway North, Marion Center PA 15759. The Marion Center Area Junior/Senior High School, serving students grades 7-12, is located adjacent to the Central Administrative Office. The W.A. McCreery Elementary School, serving students grades Pre-K through 6, is located above the Central Administrative Office. The Rayne Township Elementary School, serving students in grades Pre-K through 6 is located at 2535 Route 119 Highway, Home PA 15747.
