Social Work Interns will:
- Conduct needs assessments for Casa Esperanza families.
- Work with community partners and social work professionals to provide resources to Casa Esperanza's families.
- Conduct follow-up interviews to ensure families returning to their home community are connected to support services locally as needed.
- Shadow and support the Clinical Counselor during the twice-monthly check-in sessions and during individual sessions as needed.
- Build relationships with partner social workers in local hospitals and cancer treatment facilities.
- Attend weekly supervision sessions with our Clinical Counselor and Internship Field Instructor.
