Horse Feeds

Horse feeds are specially formulated to meet the nutritional needs of horses. They typically contain a combination of grains, proteins, vitamins and minerals that provide energy and support healthy growth and development. Grains such as oats, corn, barley and wheat are often used as the base for horse feed. Protein sources like soybean meal, alfalfa meal or cottonseed meal may also be added to provide essential amino acids. Vitamins and minerals can be included in the mix to ensure adequate levels of these nutrients are provided. Horse feeds come in a variety of forms including pellets, cubes, mash or extruded nuggets.
