Make a Difference Day was the MVP's first BIG project. We picked a local business who constantly gives to the community, Sugar’s Home Plate restaurant.
ACE, in Overton, donated heavy equipment and paint while volunteers painted the awning of the building. Local artist Joan Rainey Day, who has done many murals in the Moapa Valley and Virgin Valley, donated her time talent and supplies and painted a mural on the front of the building. This mural has gotten tourist stopping to click pictures and go in for a hearty meal!
