Since its inception in 1999, the Purdy AmeriCorps Reading Coach Program has been a steadfast support system for students at Purdy Elementary. Committed to enhancing literacy skills, our dedicated AmeriCorps members offer personalized, one-on-one, and group tutoring sessions throughout the school day. Adhering to federal grant guidelines that limit service to four years per individual, we continually seek exceptional individuals willing to contribute their time and expertise to aid our children. The AmeriCorps Reading Coach Program stands as a testament to our enduring commitment to fostering a culture of learning and academic growth within the Purdy R-II School District.
