Passengers can report lost items by calling customer service or using an online form, providing details such as a description of the item, date, time, and bus route. Found items are stored at the Lost and Found office, and passengers are contacted if a match is found. Items are stored for up to 30 days, with perishables disposed of immediately. Unclaimed items after this period may be donated or disposed of according to SamTrans policies.
