Arizona G&T Cooperatives generates electricity through its Apache Generating Station, which has a combined gross capacity of 625 megawatts. The station includes three steam-generating units and four gas turbines. The generation process involves a mix of natural gas and coal, with a focus on maintaining reliability and efficiency. In addition, the Apache Solar Project contributes 20 megawatts of renewable energy, emphasizing the cooperative's commitment to sustainable energy sources.
