The Northern Plains UAS Test Site (NPUASTS) is dedicated to the full integration of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) into the National Airspace System. This involves pioneering research to address emerging technologies and challenges, enhancing industry capabilities, and extending the frontiers of operational limitations. Key areas of focus include Counter UAS technologies, Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), Detect and Avoid (DAA) systems, Cooperative UAS Technologies, and Command and Control (C2) solutions. Additionally, the site plays a crucial role in the development and operational testing of UAS Traffic Management (UTM) systems in collaboration with federal agencies and industry stakeholders.
